Thanks for stopping by, I'm so glad you're here! I'm Beth Fajcz (pronounced "fights"), a surface pattern designer, illustrator, hand letterer, and creative.

My Story
I've been an artist for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a creative family, I've always been encouraged to draw and explore the world of art, and my passion for art has only deepened through the years.
I've had the privilege of learning from many talented designers like Bonnie Christine, Carina Gardner, and Shannon McNab, but my biggest mentor has been Bärbel Dressler, a Swedish surface pattern designer. Taking Bärbel's 2023 Repertoire course immersed me in the fascinating world of pattern design, and has shaped my style: honoring the past while creating something fresh and original.
Mike Lowery and Martina Flor have guided me through illustration and hand lettering this year through their wonderful courses, Getting Paid to Draw and the Lettering Seminar.

My Art
As a lifelong lover of history, I specialize in designing patterns with a historical flair. Whether it's the delicate florals of the Arts and Crafts movement or an eye-catching Art Nouveau design, my goal is to create beautiful patterns that build on historical design.

Work with Me
Want to work with me or license my art? I would love to work with you! I'm currently open to licensing repeating patterns, illustrations, and hand lettered art. Find out more and contact me here.
